Data and code for Animal Behaviour manuscript "Assessing the similarity of song-type transitions among birds: evidence for interspecies variation"

Data and code for the Animal Behaviour manuscript entitled "Assessing the similarity of song-type transitions among birds: evidence for interspecies variation".
Within this fileset is a zip file containing one R script ("Similarity of Song Type Transitions.R") and five data files in .RData format.
Each data file contains the transition matrices for one of the five species included in the study. For a species represented by N individuals, the RData file contains N transition matrices.

The code reads in the song transition matrices contained in the five data files, and makes pairwise comparisons of transitions of all individuals included.

Results are then summarized in an R object called "Results". Additional details are provided as comments within the R code.
