Grapes (Vitis vinifera) quality is seriously threatened upon Aspergillus carbonarius infections. Meanwhile, this fungal pathogen constitutes the main ochratoxin A (OTA) producer. In order to decipher the transcriptional expression profiles among two grape cultivars (cvs Fraoula and Victoria) in the Vitis vinifera - Aspergillus carbonarius pathosystem, an RNA-seq analysis at grapes was performed at 24, 48, and 72 h after infection. The samples for RNA-seq were obtained from grapes inoculated with the pathogen; mock inoculated grapes were also analyzed.
