Kinetix camera calibration
收藏资源简介:
Results of the Kinetix camera calibration (Photometrics, 01-KINETIX-M-C ). The two following modes were calibrated: "speed" (8-bits) and "sensitivity" (12-bits). Setup specifications: Excitation: Thorlabs collimated LED light source for microscopy No objective; instead, two diffusers are placed at this location (Thorlabs DG10-600-MD, 600 grit & DG10-120-MD, 120 grit) Dichroic: Semrock 146 Di01-R405/488/561/635 Imaging path: A 25.4 mm biconvex lens (Thorlabs LB1761-A) is positioned at the Fourier lens location; two diffusers are placed at the filter position (Thorlabs DG10-1500-MD, 1500 grit & DG10-220-MD, 220 grit) Acquisition parameters: for each mode, acquire 20,000 frames at 6 gradualy increased intensity levels, and 20,000 frames in the dark. Calibrate the full 3200x3200 pixels chip. Sensitivity mode: 10 ms exposure with 200 ms interval. Speed mode: 5 ms exposure with 90 ms interval. Analysis specifications: used the following software https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10732470 Results: the results include for each mode: 1. pixel-dependent offset, variance, gain and read noise maps; 2. average offset, variance, gain and read noise; 3. regression curve used for estimating gain. Sensitivity mode results summary:The average offset: 100.692 +- 1.038 ADU countsThe average gain: 3.462 +- 0.098 ADU counts/photoelectronThe average read noise is: 1.288 +- 0.419 photoelectronsThe median read noise is: 1.139 photoelectronsThe RMS read noise is: 1.354 photoelectrons Speed mode results summary: The average offset is: 19.421 +- 0.723 ADU countsThe average variance is: 5.587 +- 2.673 ADU countsThe average gain is: 1.028 +- 0.154 ADU counts/photoelectron The average read noise is: 2.337 +- 0.916 photoelectrons The median read noise is: 2.225 photoelectronsThe RMS read noise is: 2.510 photoelectrons* ADU = analog-to-digital unit
