This dataset contains the raw numerical values used to generate all panels of Figure 5, which examines the effects of chemogenetic activation of thalamofrontal (TF) synapses on synaptic transmission, single-unit activity, and short-term memory (STM) performance in rKet mice.<br>Included data:- Whole-cell recordings assessing synaptic effects of C21 (Panels 5a–d), including spontaneous EPSC inter-event intervals, peak oEPSC amplitudes during 10 Hz stimulation, and paired-pulse ratios before and after C21 application.-<i> in vivo</i> extracellular single-unit recordings during MD stimulation before and after systemic C21 (Panels 5e–h), including spike waveforms, autocorrelograms, and spike counts in response to 0.1 Hz and 10 Hz stimulation across defined post-stimulus bins.- Behavioral performance in the spontaneous Y-maze task before and after chemogenetic activation (Panels 5i–k), including spontaneous alternation percentage and total arm entries.<br>Structure:- Each worksheet corresponds to a panel or data type- All values represent unprocessed raw data directly used to generate the plots in the manuscript.<br>This dataset enables full reproduction of the chemogenetic, electrophysiological, and behavioral analyses presented in Figure 5.<br>
