Full-length transcriptome sequencing of the Northern weatherfish

The northern weatherfish misgurnus bipartitus is the sister species parapatric of the oriental weatherfish M. anguillicaudatus. The two species are parapatric with each other and both have great economic value. There only a few published researches concerned with the molecular signatures of M. bipartitus, comparing with M. anguillicaudatus. This study provided the first time the full-length transcriptome database of M. bipartitus which would be a valuable resource for molecular research and breeding of this and related species.
