Next Generation Sequencing of miRNA in PRRSV-infected PAMs

We used the high-throughput sequencing and inhibitors to screen microRNAs that play the role in anti-porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) responses in porcine alveolar macrophages (PAMs). Overall design: Next Generation Sequencing of miRNA in PRRSV-infected PAMs of pigs. The miRNA library construction and sequencing were conducted with Illumina sequencing technology (BGI-Wuhan, China), and qualified sequence data were analyzed by GBI (Wuhan, China). In brief, only miRNAs represented by > 20 reads were selected for differential expression testing.
