Data for "Resprouting responses to light environment and cutting season differ across resprouting stages and leaf habit in a heavy-snow Japanese beech forest"

This dataset contains data used in the analysis of the manuscript "Resprouting responses to light environment and cutting season differ across resprouting stages and leaf habit in a heavy-snow Japanese beech forest." The dataset includes two data files used in the manuscript: the stage-shift dataset and the leaf-habit dataset. These files contain individual-level measurements of resprouting responses, stump size, light environment, cutting season, study stand, and leaf habit for woody species in the understory of a heavy-snow Japanese beech forest in Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
