Collembola sample in the soil at each field plot set at KW, Salluit and Pond Inlet

We used a soil core with 25 cm2 opened area and 5cm depth for collecting Collembola in the soil at each field plot set at KW, Salluit and Pond Inlet. At most of the sampling point, the soil depth was less than 10cm or the frozen layer or water table appeared at 10 or 15 cm depths. Thus, we took samples using the two or three cores united by plastic tapes. Collembola were extracted using Fukuyama's extracting apparatus for three days (Fukuyama 208). The Collembola were identified under abinocular microscope (magnification 400 X, occasionally 1000 X). The species names were determined following Christiansen and Bellinger (1998) and Bellinger et al. (1996-2019).
本研究采用开口面积为25 cm²、深度为5 cm的土芯(soil core),在设置于KW、萨卢伊特(Salluit)及庞德因莱特(Pond Inlet)的各野外样地中采集土壤中的弹尾虫(Collembola)。多数采样点的土壤深度不足10 cm,或在10 cm、15 cm深度处存在冻土层或地下水位,因此我们使用塑料胶带捆绑2~3根土芯开展采样。采用福山(Fukuyama)提取装置对弹尾虫进行为期3天的分离提取(Fukuyama 208)。使用双目显微镜(放大倍数400倍,偶尔使用1000倍)完成弹尾虫的形态鉴定,物种命名依据Christiansen与Bellinger(1998)以及Bellinger等人(1996-2019)的分类标准。
