资源简介:
Despite its flexibility, asynchronous learning faces persistent challenges in maintaining student engagement and satisfaction. This study addresses the need for a comprehensive model within the Indonesian context by empirically testing the key determinants of student satisfaction. This study employed a quantitative research method, involving 494 Indonesian respondents who completed an online questionnaire. This research used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to look at the data. The study showed that all eight hypotheses tested were statistically significant. The results show that student satisfaction has a direct and positive effect on course design, how useful students think the learning experience is, how well students work together, and how confident they feel in their own abilities. The research also shows how important it is for students to be involved. It was discovered that the amount of interaction between students and the presence of the instructor have a big effect on how engaged students are. These results suggest that to improve asynchronous learning experiences, it is important to combine good course design with a lot of social and instructional support. This study gives useful advice to everyone who is involved in asynchronous learning.
