Research on the mechanism of science and technology insurance affecting the total factor productivity of high-tech enterprises

This article selects basic information, financial indicators, and other data of A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2012 to 2023, which are sourced from Guotai An database and Wind database. After matching the relevant variables involved, the following treatment is taken for the initial sample: ① Exclude enterprises that have been processed by ST, * ST, and PT during the sample period; ② Exclude companies listed on B-shares during the sample period; ③ Exclude companies with a establishment time of 1 year or less ④ Exclude financial listed companies; ⑤ Exclude companies with a high number of missing values for related variables. Finally, a total of 10680 sample observations were obtained from 890 high-tech enterprises from 2012 to 2023.
