Transcriptome data of trimethylamine N-oxide on prostate cancer PC3 cells

In this study, we performed transcriptome sequencing on six samples, including three control group samples treated with DMSO and three treated group samples, where PC3 cells were treated with 6mM TMAO. Samples were collected after 48 hours of TMAO treatment and immediately stored in liquid nitrogen to maintain RNA integrity and stability. Samples were thawed and ground prior to sequencing, and total RNA extraction was performed according to the manufacturer's protocol. After quality control, cDNA libraries were constructed and sequenced. Quality-controlled clean data were aligned to the reference genome and counted using featureCounts to obtain the expression of each gene.
