This is an updated version of the SPEI dataset available from CEDA (https://doi.org/10.5285/ac43da11867243a1bb414e1637802dec), incorporating updated potential evapotranspiration (PET) derived from GLEAM version 4.0. This replaces the previous versions of MSWEP_GLEAM and CHIRPS_GLEAM, which are based on GLEAM v3.
