Structural inequities shape livestock climate and biodiversity outcomes
收藏资源简介:
This repository accompanies the article "Structural inequities shape livestock climate and biodiversity outcomes" by Bhattarai et al. (Nature, in review). It contains biophysical, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, economic, and biodiversity data for 13 livestock farms across Australia (six cattle and seven sheep farms) under multiple intervention scenarios aimed at reducing emissions and enhancing co-benefits, together with the R code and source data used to generate the manuscript's figures. Contents include: Farm-level baseline data and intervention scenarios Emissions data, reported under both GWP100 and GWP* metrics, including annual change in net farm emissions under each intervention, 2001–2050 Economic analysis data: gross margins under low- and high-price scenarios, with and without carbon revenue Biodiversity indicator data over time Tree-carbon pools (above-ground biomass, below-ground biomass and dead organic matter) by year since planting Emissions data, reported under both GWP100 and GWP* metrics R scripts to reproduce the figures: Figures_main.R (Figures 1–6 and Extended Data Figures 1–2) Source data for each figure, as one Excel workbook per figure containing the plotted values and the statistics shown README files describing the folder structure, data requirements, how to run the scripts and the outputs Variables are described in the accompanying variable dictionary, including units and definitions. Farm coordinates and other information that could identify a landholder are withheld to protect privacy. The scripts were run in R 4.3.1 .
