Groundwater Rise Caused by 8-ft SLR

Groundwater modeling was used to simulate the effects of sea-level rise on groundwater levels in the New Hampshire Seacoast. The computer code MODFLOW-USG Transport (Panday, 2022) was used to simulate groundwater flow and saltwater intrusion in these communities. This map shows the extent of the groundwater rise caused by 8 feet of sea level rise.本研究采用地下水模拟方法，模拟海平面上升对新罕布什尔州海岸带（New Hampshire Seacoast）地下水位的影响。本次模拟使用数值模拟程序MODFLOW-USG Transport（Panday, 2022），对该区域的地下水流与盐水入侵过程开展模拟。本地图展示了8英尺海平面上升所引发的地下水位抬升范围。
