Dataset for "Integrating food production and energy generation on agricultural land: a multi-objective optimisation analysis for Switzerland"

This dataset supports a multi-objective optimisation analysis of integrating renewable energy generation into Swiss agricultural land while maintaining food production. It consists of 30 stratified samples of 464 nodes each, covering Switzerland's agricultural land. Each sample contains spatially explicit inputs for all modelled technologies including production potentials, land availability, and environmental impact intensities (climate change and biodiversity). The dataset is structured for direct use with the ZEN-garden optimisation framework and covers four core scenarios combining two food supply structures (plant-rich, animal-rich) with two land-use strategies (combined food–energy, exclusive), as well as a range of sensitivity analyses on crop yields, shading response, solar irradiation, and land-use constraints.
