On the Inside - Abstract - IOHA Biannual Conference in Singapore - (Forthcoming Presentation)

<i>On the Inside</i> is a research project created by Dr Helena Enright, Senior Lecturer in Drama, at Bath Spa University, in partnership with Geese Theatre Company, Birmingham and the University of Warwick. This research project explores how a ‘theatre of testimony’ performance methodology can respond creatively to the contemporary experiences of mothers in prison in the UK and the archive, culminating in a theatre performance output entitled <i>Playing the Game</i>.<br><br>This item contains the accepted abstract for the paper that was to be presented by Dr Helena Enright at the IOHA Biannual Conference in Singapore 2020, included as contextualising information. The conference was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and is due to be rescheduled for a future date to be determined. <br><br>
