资源简介:
Due to the increasing lack of therapeutic options, prevention and control strategies within hospital settings are essential for combating infections caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria. However, recent reports have shown that the use of common antiseptic molecules, such as Octenidine (OCT) and Chlorhexidine (CHL), can lead to antiseptic tolerance and decreased susceptibility to some antibiotics. Thus, we aimed to investigate the in vitro antimicrobial activity of these two biocides against multidrug-resistant but also wild-type Pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical isolates.
