Water temperature data for Arboleda Stream at La Selva Research Station, Costa Rica

Water temperature data for Arboleda Stream at La Selva Research Station, Costa Rica Stream water temperature (oC) was measured in Arboleda stream, a tributary of the Sura, in the stilling pool behind a 120° sharp-crested V-notch weir. Water temperature was measured with a YSI sonde every hour. A secondary system was added to the weir in 2018. Two pressure transducers (Onset HOBO U20L-04) one submerged to record water pressure and the other placed above the water surface to correct for atmospheric pressure. Water level was recorded at 15-minute intervals. A tertiary data set comes from weekly manual measurements with a pH/temperature meter y a research technician.
