DTE Electric’s hosting capacity map identifies the portions of DTE Electric’s service territory where primary voltage interconnection may be more available. Hosting capacity is an estimate of the amount of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) that can be accommodated on the DTE Electric distribution system consistent with maintaining acceptable power quality and reliability to all customers under existing control configurations and without requiring infrastructure upgrades.
