Upcoming murals are two-dimensional art projects usually painted on a flat surface. They require both City and property owner permission. Murals may be on private or public property, and can even be painted directly onto the street. Upcoming murals also include both projects on a building or similar structure which require a Development Permit, as well as those which do not require one. This data is valuable to neighboring residents as murals can cause minor disruptions in access to the lane, street and sidewalk. It is also valuable to future applicants who would like to see examples of approved projects. The data will be updated as new projects are approved, with the highest frequency of updates occurring in the summer owing to the seasonal nature of murals.待实施壁画（Upcoming murals）指通常绘制于平整表面的二维艺术创作项目。此类项目需同时获得市政部门与物业所有权人的许可。壁画可设置于私人或公共物业表面，甚至可直接绘制于路面之上。待实施壁画范畴亦涵盖需申领开发许可（Development Permit）的建筑或同类构筑物上的创作项目，以及无需此类许可的项目。该数据集对周边居民具有重要参考价值：壁画创作可能会对巷道、街道及人行道的通行造成轻微干扰。同时，其对希望参考已获批项目案例的后续申请者亦颇具价值。该数据集将随新项目获批情况实时更新，由于壁画创作具有季节性特征，更新频次在夏季达到峰值。
