Data for: Carbon-focused mangrove prioritization may leave most flood-exposed populations underrepresented
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains spatial layers and summary tables supporting the manuscript “Carbon-focused mangrove prioritization may leave most flood-exposed populations underrepresented”. The uploaded files include a national ecosystem carbon stock layer for Vietnam’s 2020 mangroves, flood-exposed population layers, binary priority maps for carbon-only, flood exposure-only and joint carbon-flood prioritization under the 30% area constraint, sensitivity analysis priority layers across alternative area budgets and objective weights, and summary tables reporting solution performance and sensitivity statistics. The ecosystem carbon layer integrates above-ground biomass, estimated below-ground biomass and soil organic carbon. Flood-exposed population layers were derived by combining population data with modeled coastal inundation and restricting the results to mangrove planning units. The conservation priority layers identify selected and unselected mangrove planning units under different objective functions.
