Two vials of methanol-degrading anaerobic activated sludge were acclimated in the lab, and inorganic carbon was added to one of them at the acclimation stage. In order to explore their degradation mechanism and verify the change of inorganic carbon on the degradation pathway, microbial community analysis is required.
