资源简介:
Atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) levels are steadily rising and are predicted to increase to 550 parts per million (ppm) or more by 2050, according to some estimates. The continuous elevation of CO2 levels, in combination with more extreme and unpredictable weather events, are expected to have significant implications for global food security. Among the most widely planted dicot seed crops worldwide, soybeans play a crucial role as a major source of protein and oil. To gain a better understanding of the molecular components regulating soybean physiological responses to elevated CO2 (eCO2), we conducted QuantSeq analysis using RNA isolated from leaves of soybeans grown at two different CO2 concentrations: 419 ppm, representing current atmospheric conditions, or 550 ppm, representing predicted atmospheric conditions in the year 2050, at 21 and 35 days.
