资源简介:
The study will consist of three major components: A group of female caregivers will be selected to trial the MNP and LNS products in their homes for two weeks per product. Half of the selected women will receive MNP for the first two weeks and half will receive LNS for the first two weeks. They will then receive the other product for an additional two weeks. A trained interviewer will meet with them in their homes to conduct a short initial interview and provide them with either the MNP or the LNS product. The initial interview is expected to take 40 minutes and each participant will be interviewed at her home or any other neighborhood she prefers. Married males will also be identified to participate in focus group discussions. The focus groups will cover questions about feeding practices, their involvement and role in family budgets that includes budget for foods and child health, perceptions of the product (MNP and LNS).Finally, two methods will be used to assess willingness to pay. The first method asks participant to name their desired price and a minimum and maximum price they would be willing to pay. However, this method often ov erestimates what people are willing to pay.
