The goal is to uncover the light intensity- and photoperiod-mediated transcriptional dynamics underlying biochemical and physiological adjustments in Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi. Plants were exposed to different light intensities and photoperiods for a single light period and leaf samples (leaf pairs 5, 6, 7; with smallest leaf pair 1 at the apex) for RNA-seq analysis were collected over time.
