Comparative Genomics of Methicillin-Resistant Non-aureus Staphylococci Isolated from cattle in Bachok, Kelantan, Malaysia

In this study, four multidrug-resistant, mecA-positive isolates of non-aureus Staphylococci were isolated from cattle in a small holder cattle farm in Bachok, Kelantan, Malaysia. These isolates were undergone whole genome sequencing for comparative genomics within the isolates and pan-genomic study. The data may provide information on the aspects of antibiotic resistance and virulence among those isolates, thus providing insights in controlling the infections for the sake of cattle farming in Malaysia.
