We performed high-fidelity (HiFi) long-read genome sequencing of pooled male heads of APPLd, a Drosophila melanogaster mutant line, using the PacBio Revio platform. This mutant was initially generated by irradiation-induced chromosomal translocation; however, the mutation and genome have never been characterized.
