STUDIES THAT APPROACH AUTHOR-LEVEL METRICS: AN EXPLORATORY ANALYSIS

Database of an exploratory study, starting from a bibliographic survey in order to characterize the studies that deal with the theme of Metrics at the Author Level. The corpus is defined by 21 articles, where the mentioned platforms and methods are evaluated. Studies can be characterized as recognized, or the most mentioned studies mentioned are Google Scholar Citations and ResearchGate is the average number of authors per article 2.7. A research group from the University of Granada stands out as the most productive on the subject. The need for further study is identified through a more comprehensive systematic review.
