3D scans of experimental pottery produced using three pottery-forming methods involving rotational kinetic energy (RKE).

The dataset contains excerpts from 3D scans of ASDasdASDexperimental pottery in STL format. These are the source data for the article Topographic analysis of ceramic vessel surfaces and variability in wall thickness as a means to identify pottery-forming methodsfgfs. The letters in the filenames represent abbreviations of the forming techniques used to produce the respective vessels: CTF – coiling combined with wheel finishing using a turntable, CWF – coiling combined with wheel finishing on a potter’s wheel, and WT – wheel throwing.
A lowercase letter following the serial number indicates whether the excerpt represents the exterior (f) or interior (b) surface.
