Reproductive characteristics and oxidative stress markers in Brahma hens fed with feed containing ethanolic extract of Dacryodes edulis leaves

This dataset contains raw experimental data from a study investigating the effects of ethanolic leaf extract of Dacryodes edulis on growth performance, antioxidant status, and reproductive characteristics of Brahma chickens. The experiment involved five dietary treatment groups, comprising a negative control, positive control and three levels of Dacryodes edulis leaf extract supplementation. The dataset includes measurements of feed intake, body weight, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, serum antioxidant indices and reproductive hormonal profiles, as applicable. The dataset is deposited to promote research transparency, reproducibility and further scientific investigation into the potential application of Dacryodes edulis leaf extract in poultry production.
