Purpose: To elucidate the molecular mechanism underlying GYF-mediated flowering regulation, we conducted whole-genome RNA-seq analysis using 1-week-old seedlings of WT, gyf1, gyf2, gyf1 gyf2-1, gyf1 gyf2-2. Conclusions: GYF proteins appear to regulate flowering time through direct modulation of FLC transcript levels Overall design: mRNA profiles of 1-week-old seedlings of WT (Col-0), gyf1, gyf2, gyf1 gyf2-1, gyf1 gyf2-2 mutants were generated by deep sequencing, in duplicate, using Illumina HiSeq PE-150.
