Family of Japanese, circa 1920s. A photo of 5 women, 4 men, 1 teen girl, 2 young boys, 2 young girls and 2 toddler boys. All are standing except one man sitting in the center. The man in the center is in traditional Japanese Dress consisting of the haori, hakama, tabi and zori. To the right of the sitting man are two men in three piece suits and ties. In front of these men are three women in traditional kimono, tabi and zori. In front of the women is one young girl, (in a dress, apron and shoes) and two toddler boys, both in pants, a shirt and apron. To the left of the sitting man is another man in a three piece suit, tie and glasses. In front of him are two women in traditional kimono, tabi and zori. In front of the women is one young girl, in a dress, tights and apron. To the left of this group are two young boys, both in black pants, coats, socks and shoes. Behind them is a teen girl in a dress inspired by the navy. Behind the whole group are trees and a small wooden structure. There is a red stamp on the bottom right corner, which I can not make out. This cabinet card could also go into an album, as there are 2 whole outlines which can be punched as well as tissue to go over the photo. The tissue has mostly been torn off. There are acid burns on the front, as well soiling, water damage on the right and abrasion damage on all but the left edges. There is a large crease on the bottom left corner, only visible on the reverse. This object is in fair condition overall.
