RNA-seq analysis of Plutella xylostella to identify the molecular basis of insecticide resistance. Plutella xylostella

In this study, to obtain a better understanding of Spinosad Resistant Plutella xylostella, the transcriptome of a susceptible strain of P. xylostella was sequenced using a high-throughput sequencing platform (Illumina HiSeq™ 2500). The obtained transcriptome information provides large gene resources available for further studying the resistance development of P. xylostella to pesticides. The DGE data provide comprehensive insights into the gene expression profiles of the different Spinosad-resistant strains. These genes are specifically related to insecticide resistance, with different expressional profiles facilitating the study of the role of each gene in Spinosad resistance development.
