An interview with Richard Lee Armitage, a top U.S. diplomat, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for International security affairs (1983–1989) and Deputy Secretary of State (2001-2005). This pre-mortem interview concerned U.S. foreign and security policy in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attack. It focused on problems related to the U.S.-led global war on terror in the context of a security protocol enacted by the G.W. Bush presidency
