This dataset contains data used in the figures in the paper Zhou, G., and Prosperetti, A. (2020). The data derive from a reduced model developed to simulate the thermal behavior of a single gas bubble in water during its oscillation driven by sinusoidal acoustic pressure. The results of the model are compared to those obtained with a Navier-Stokes solver. The equilibrium radius of the bubble, the amplitude, and frequency of the acoustic pressure are varied to demonstrate the performance of the proposed model in relatively wide parameter space.
