Topics: Living: duration of residence in the residential area; duration of residence in the apartment; owner status; satisfaction with the apartment, the residential area and the city/municipality; general life satisfaction; intended move out of the apartment in the next two years; preferred new place of residence; satisfaction with the environmental conditions in the residential area; expected development of environmental problems in the residential area; intensity of car traffic in the residential street; type and intensity of environmental pollution in the immediate residential environment (railway noise, road traffic noise, aircraft noise, industrial and commercial noise, odours, exhaust gases, dust formation); assessment of the current and future economic situation in the FRG and the city/municipality as well as the own economic situation; expected development of unemployment figures in the city/municipality; political interest; interest in local politics; fair share in comparison with other population groups.

Interviewer rating: type of residence; interview with the respondent alone or presence of third persons during the interview; intervention of third persons in the interview; willingness of the respondent to respond; reliability of the respondent´s data; interview duration; interview date; sex and age of the interviewer.
