Chickpea (Cicer arietinum) gene CaSFAM has been shown to regulate ABA signalling and other key genes of seed development in legumes. CaSFAM controls previously established master regulators like Abi3, Fus3, Abi5, LEA, etc. Here we perform an RNA-seq experiment comparing chickpea hairy-roots overexpressing CaSFAM under the ubiquitin promoter vs empty vector transformed hairy-roots.
