Graduate survey 2023 - Half a Year After Graduation

The Graduate Survey 2023 - Half a Year After Graduation is a survey conducted by Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education(NIFU). The study examines the transition from education to employment among individuals who completed a master’s degree in the spring of 2023. Candidate surveys are divided into two categories: six-month surveys and specialized surveys. The six-month surveys are conducted by NIFU every other year, targeting individuals with a master’s degree six months after graduation. These surveys encompass most groups of graduates holding advanced degrees from Norwegian educational institutions. The surveys provide valuable insights into the labor market situation of recent graduates. Since 2007, the survey has also included questions about candidates' evaluations of their education, their educational institutions, and the extent to which they found their studies relevant to the needs of the labor market. Most of the questions have remained unchanged over time, allowing the six-month surveys to serve as a solid foundation for reliable time series data.
