16S faecal microbiome profiles of eight vaginally delivered,healthy infants from Belgium (BaBel cohort). In total 303 fecal samples were analysed: a core dataset of 142 samples collected on 21 predefined time points distributed over the first year of life (excluding 26 samples based on reported disease signs), complemented with 161 post-hoc selected samplesassociated with clinically relevant events such as disease/drug treatment.
