Raw data for: The effect of gamma irradiation on the stability of vitamin D in select finfish species.

Our study investigated the effects of gamma irradiation on vitamin D levels in salmon and trout filets. Fish samples were dissected, portioned, and exposed to varying doses of Cobalt-60 gamma radiation under chilled and frozen conditions before being shipped for analysis. Vitamin D was extracted through saponification, solvent extraction, and concentration, then analyzed using LC-MS/MS with internal standards and derivatization to ensure accurate quantification. Here, we present the raw vitamin D data and percent recovery shown in the associated manuscript.
