Antarctic krill occupy an unique position in the ecosystem of the Antarctic Oceans , where there are quite a considerable number of microorganisms. During storage and processing, Antarctic krill rapidly degrades due to high activity enzymes from flesh and microbes. In this study, the microbial diversity and dominant bacteria causing spoilage during storage and processing of Antarctic Krill Euphausia superba were analyzed by culture-independent high-throughput sequencing and by microbial pure culture method.
