RNA-Seq expression analysis of thymic epithelial cells (TEC) lacking expression of Hoil

To investigate the role of LUBAC in the development and maintenance of the thymic epithelial cells, we analysed the transcriptional changes that result from loss of HOIL - a critical component of the LUBAC protein complex necessary for complex assembly, stability and therefore function - in purified mouse thymic epithelial cell populations. RNA was isolated from freshly purified cortical and medullary thymic epithelial cells of control mice (Foxn1cre+/+ Hoillox/lox) and mice carrying TEC-specific deletion of Hoil (Foxn1creT/+ HOILlox/lox) for comparison by RNA-Seq.
