Endophytic fungi play important roles in plant growth, secondary metabolism, and ecological adaptation. In this study, the endophytic fungal communities associated with Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis, an important medicinal plant, were investigated using ITS amplicon sequencing. Plant samples of different ages were collected during summer and autumn to explore seasonal variation in fungal community structure. Genomic DNA was extracted from composite samples and the ITS region was amplified and sequenced using high-throughput sequencing. The resulting data were used to characterize fungal diversity, community composition, and seasonal differences. This project aims to provide insights into the diversity and ecological distribution of endophytic fungi associated with P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis.
