Dataset on Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Awareness, Vaccination Status, and Health Information Sources among Adults in Five States of Nigeria

The dataset provides an elaborated description of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) dataset, which includes data collected from five states in Nigeria which represents different geopolitical zones. The dataset is separated into individual state-specific Excel files and a consolidated CSV file, which allows for both granular and comprehensive analysis.

This dataset as earlier mentioned presents responses from a structured survey carried out among adults in five Nigerian states which are Oyo, Kwara, Abuja (FCT), Osun, and Kogi which is targeted at measuring the level of awareness, vaccination status, and information sources when it comes to Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Each state's dataset contains 462 entries and captures sociodemographic parameters such as sex, age, marital status, religion, education level, and profession. In addition, the dataset includes responses relating to HPV vaccine reception, willingness to be vaccinated, awareness of HPV transmission routes, and the perception of its contagious nature.
