Data for: Variability in sociodemographic factors and obesity in Korean children: A cross-sectional analysis of Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data (2007–2015)

The data are composed of 16,354 individuals aged between 2 and 18 years of age from a total cohort of 73,353 individuals who participated in the fourth, fifth, and sixth KNHANES (2007–2015). The sample excluded individuals who lacked data, or whose parents lacked data, for body mass index (BMI). The remaining 14,482 participants (7,652 males and 6,830 females), 8,394 mothers, and 6,523 fathers were enrolled in the final analysis.
