Actinidia chinensis var. jinshi01 is an economically and important fruit that is extensively grown in Southwestern China. In this study, we determined the complete chloroplast genome of Actinidia chinensis var. HFY01 using high-throughput Illumina NovaSeq6000 sequencing. The chloroplast genome of Actinidia chinensis var. HFY01 is 156,322 bp in size, containing a large single-copy region (88,085 bp), a small single-copy region (20,331 bp) and a pair of IR regions (each one of 23,953 bp). The overall GC content of the chloroplast genome is 37.19%, while the corresponding values of GC contents of the LSC, SSC, and IR regions are 35.45%, 31.14% and 42.96%, respectively. The chloroplast genome of Actinidia chinensis var. HFY01 contains 131 genes, including 84 protein-coding genes, 39 tRNA genes, and eight rRNA genes.
