The Wairakei (WETA) experiment consists of a short term (~30-60 day) nodal array targeting the Wairakei Geothermal Field. 45 SmartSolo IGU-BD3C-5 broadband nodes and 120 SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C short period nodes were deployed in September 2023. All data recorded at 250 Hz. The aim of the project is to image the local seismic velocity structures in the top 5 km and detect and characterize local seismicity.
