Fill from a slab-lined hearth at 48LN3701, a site exhibiting primarily lithic debris, was
examined for pollen. This hearth yielded a radiocarbon age of 5220 +/- 80 BP. Pollen analysis was
conducted in an effort to recover evidence of food processing activities associated with this hearth.
