Specific-pathogen-free C57BL/6J mice gavaged Clostridium butyricum (CB) or medium at 7 days prior were subcutaneously immunized with MOG35-55 peptide and complete freund's adjuvant. Mice were sacrificed at day 24 after immunization. Analysis of the small intestinal microbiota by 16S rRNA gene sequence in EAE mice orally treated with Clostridium butyricum (Control; n = 10, EAE; n = 5, CB-EAE; n = 5).
