This dataset contains the experimental data used to evaluate the predation potential of Gamasellodes lavafesii (Mesostigmata: Ascidae) and Cosmolaelaps mediocuspis (Mesostigmata: Laelapidae) on different soil-dwelling pests and parasites, as well as on alternative prey for mass rearing purposes. The data include records of predation rates and oviposition under controlled laboratory conditions.
